Post-production includes all the steps and technical operations that take place after a shooting. At the sound level, it is the organization of all the operations that lead to the realization of the audio part of the production. Sound is an art that we are deeply passionate about! STEREO MIXING & 5.1 SURROUND
Mixing audio for a film or a music production is an art in itself. It allows you to calibrate dialogues, ambiances, sound effects, different instruments with intelligence and creativity. Also, it is a process in the movie sound mixing which all sources are taken in their raw state and where an assembly is created with a precise artistic direction. Finally, it is a question of harmony, volume, spatial organization of sound, dynamics and rhythms.
AMBIANCE DESIGN
The stage of creating the sound environment where we plan and create all the necessary sound effects to make credible or to reinforce a particular emotion in a scene. This work is to create a harmony that emanates from the collaboration between the music and the soundscape. The sound designer then gives depth and professionalism to audiovisual productions.
AUDIO RESTORATION
Restoration is a crucial step of audio post, especially when sound recording on the set was not taking place in optimal conditions for various reasons. For example, a lack of adequate equipment, reverberation of a room or disturbing background noise (ventilation, crackling, rubbing of clothes). This step will allow you to adjust sound levels, work on dynamics, attenuate some frequencies and ultimately improve speech comprehension. At the end, it will make it more pleasant to listen to a dialogue in harmony with a soundtrack.
DIALOGUE EDITING
Dialogue editing is organizing, cleaning and selecting the best shots on the set. A meticulous work where we replace some takes, where we prepare the material before the mixing stage regarding the choice of dialogues.
